Collection: Handmade Candles | Hand-Poured Sculptural Candles Made in LA
Our handmade candles are where LAWA's craft shows most clearly — each piece hand-poured in small batches in Los Angeles from plant-based soy wax, shaped and finished by hand so no two are ever exactly alike. The collection spans clean cylinders, architectural blocks, rounded spheres, and raw organic silhouettes, in matte colorways that carry the subtle marks of being made by hand rather than machine. Each one reads as a small sculpture first and a candle second, at home on a shelf, mantel, coffee table, or console, lit or unlit. Unscented and clean-burning, they bring quiet, artisanal character to a space and are made to be admired long after the flame goes out.

Handmade Candles, Poured One Batch at a Time
Our handmade candles bring artisanal craft to any space — freestanding, sculptural pieces poured and finished by hand rather than mass-produced. Each one works as both a functional candle and a design object, carrying the small, characterful marks that only come from being made by hand.
A Range of Shapes & Matte Colorways
From smooth cylinders and architectural blocks to rounded spheres and raw organic forms, the collection is easy to mix and match. Matte, grounded colorways let each handmade piece group as a curated set or stand alone as a single statement piece.
The Care That Goes Into Every Piece
Poured in small batches, each candle is shaped, cooled, and finished by hand, so slight variations in surface and tone are part of the character, not a flaw. It's the difference between something made by hand and something stamped out by a machine.
Clean-Burning, Hand-Poured in LA
Every candle is hand-poured in Los Angeles from plant-based soy wax with a cotton wick. Unscented and clean-burning, they pair genuine handmade quality with modern sculptural design.
Care & Best Burn Tips
For the best burn, trim the wick to about a quarter inch before lighting, and let the first burn run long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface. This helps each handmade piece keep its shape and burn evenly over time.
